Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jen and Mark’s beautiful wedding. Jen is the daughter of a colleague of mine, and it was so much fun to see her with her mom - who did a very good job of holding back the tears for most of the day The group had a blast getting ready all together during the afternoon, with a very excited bride asking “can I put my dress on NOW? Can I put it on NOW?” - and we had just enough time for some portraits before racing off to the church lead-foot style.

The wedding was gorgeous, the food and drinks plentiful and dancing went on into the night. Let me tell you, this is a group who knows how to party!

My friend Melissa hooked me up with Jen and Eric, who are getting married in October - and what great models they were! We went to Burke Lake Park in Northern Virginia and let the inner supermodel out of its cage. Congratulations Jen and Eric, your wedding is going to be a blast!

Yesterday Phil and I had the pleasure of photographing Melanie and Brent’s intimate wedding in Alexandria, Virginia. They had a gorgeous day, and many loving family and friends in attendance. Thanks to the newlyweds for letting us be a part of it!
